Broxburn & Uphall Traders' Association

COVID-19 PPE Support Scheme for Local Shops - Phase 2

The phase 2 scheme is now closed - no further applications will be processed

The Phase 2 Scheme:

This scheme is designed to support small businesses operating in Broxburn and Uphall (defined by “the area”) who were forced to close during the Pandemic Lockdown. We have prepared a number of PPE kits covering items we assessed as being the most useful repeat items to help shops to continue operating in a safer manner. This will range from hand sanitiser and face masks to more printed items (details are shown in the application pack). BUTA would like to thank the Scottish Government and Scotland's Towns Partnership for their kind support in helping us fund this project.

The area is defined as East Main Street, Goschen Place, Greendykes Road, Station Road and West Main Street, Broxburn also East Main Street and West Main Street, Uphall and applications will be welcome from small independent traders who are not part of a multi-national or chain of businesses.

The number of kits available is strictly limited and so will be allocated to applicants who meet the criteria on a "first come first served" basis. We are unable to guarantee that there will be enough to go round, so if you wish to apply for one please make sure you do so as soon as possible.
For more details or to apply for a kit an application pack can be downloaded here:- (PDF format).

The application form can be filled in using Acrobat Readers Sign function (selected from the Acrobat tools menu) then saved and emailed as an attachment; or printed, filled out in ink and delivered to us.
